Interested in experiencing the Ngöbe culture, but unable to commit to a one-month volunteer program? Please, stop by and visit! Spend the night with a host family, explore the surrounding nature, shop for local crafts, and taste the region’s traditional cuisine.

Near to Soloy, you can go hiking, rafting, horse back riding, and visit Panama’s tallest waterfall, Sendero Chorro de Kiki. Learn more about what the Comarca area has to offer here.

Getting there:

The Comarca is easy to access from David. Look for the David-Soloy bus at the David bus terminal. A taxi from almost anywhere in David to the terminal should cost two dollars. Take the bus to the last stop, at Soloy Centro. The ride is about 1 hour and 45 minutes, and costs three dollars. Buses from David to Soloy depart everyday, hourly, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to secure a seat on the bus, and pay the fare when you get off.
